The Rivertowns Arts Council is a local cultural council for the lower Westchester County Hudson River towns.   They host an open studio tour for local artists each spring which Ms. de Bethune has participated in for over 12 years.   She is a former board member and was music coordinator for their music lessons program.

The New York Coalition of Creative Arts Therapists is an umbrella group for creative arts therapists in all disciplines (art, music, dance, drama) throughout NY State and was recently instrumental in obtaining licensure for creative arts therapists in NY.
